2. Whiffin Spit Marine Park (1 Hours)
Experience a quintessential Sooke landmark where the calm harbour meets the open sea. This natural shoreline trail offers a flat, scenic walk with 360-degree views of the Sooke Basin and the rugged Juan de Fuca Strait. It is the perfect location to breathe in the salt air and witness the powerful West Coast tides. Explorers can hunt for sea stars among the rocks, discover massive driftwood "forts" along the shoreline, and watch for curious seals and sea lions popping up in the harbour waters.
