The Experience

1. The Butchart Gardens (1.5 Hours)

Experience 121 years of horticultural excellence across 55 acres of breathtaking landscapes. Wander through the iconic Sunken Garden, the fragrant Rose Garden, and the serene Japanese Garden. Kids will love the open green spaces, interactive fountains, and the Rose Carousel.

2. Victoria Butterfly Gardens (1 Hour)

Step into a vibrant tropical indoor jungle. Walk among thousands of free-flying butterflies, encounter poison dart frogs, and meet resident tortoises, iguanas, and flamingos. Educational and engaging for kids, an immersive "jungle" adventure with exotic wildlife at every turn.

3. Mount Tolmie Lookout (0.5 Hours)
Ascend to the summit of a location widely recognized as "The Best Place to View the City". This 120-metre vantage point offers an unobstructed 360-degree panorama of Greater Victoria, the San Juan Islands, and the sparkling Strait of Juan de Fuca. On clear days, marvel at the snow-capped peak of Mount Baker in Washington State and the rugged Olympic Mountain Range rising across the water. It is the perfect final stop for family photos against a backdrop of the entire region.
