The Experience

1. East Sooke Regional Park - Aylard Farm (2 Hours)
Explore the rugged "wilderness in the city" at the park’s most accessible entrance. Follow easy paths through open meadows and heritage orchards to reach secluded pocket beaches and dramatic rocky outcrops. The area offers sweeping views of the Olympic Mountains across the Strait, while children can explore vibrant tide pools and the sandy shoreline of Cinnabar Beach.

2. Shirley Delicious Café (1 Hour)
Recharge at this iconic, award-winning A-frame cabin tucked into the forest. Known for its whimsical charm, the café serves gourmet sandwiches, world-class coffee, and famous baked goods. Families can enjoy the cozy indoor atmosphere or the outdoor garden seating, providing a perfect mid-day break with treats that kids (and parents) will rave about.

3. Sheringham Point Lighthouse (1 Hour)
Take a short, scenic stroll through the woods to this historic 1912 red-and-white lighthouse. 4. French Beach Provincial Park (1 Hour)
